Youth Choir: To provide the young people of the church with an activity that would allow them to develop their skills within a church context. The aim was that they would go on to take part in music activities within the church. The RSCM scheme has been used to develop both musical abilities and to show the place of music within a church context. This year the children have taken part in a number of morning services both by singing during communion and also with the rest of Kings Kids in signing and dancing. It is hoped that the youth choir will continue to grow and to take part in family worship at Emmanuel.
Scouts & Guides: Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts - Roger Walters - The aim of the Association is to provide Physical, Spiritual and Mental development of young people aged 6 to 18 so they can fulfil their role in society. Rainbows, Brownies and Guides – Mary Walters The purpose and aim of the sections is for the girls aged 6 to 14 to have fun and broaden their outlook with a variety of activities not normally experienced.
