Prayer Meetings: To develop and express a dependence and trust in the Lord for our planning, initiative and action in the parish. Now that some of the frills we used to encourage people’s initial participation have disappeared it is very encouraging to see that it is prayer itself that draws people to the meeting. Fridays 8:00am (Early Bird Prayer Meeting) and every first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm.

Tea Break: A varied program of events every Friday at 2pm in the church halls. Members are mostly “over 60s”. We have talks by visiting speakers, bingo and beetle sessions, films, sing-songs and occasional coach outings.

Welcome Suppers: To welcome newcomers into the church, getting to know them personally and giving them a chance to engage with church activities. During the year there have been three suppers. People have enjoyed relaxing over a meal together, some have gone on to become more fully integrated into church life and some have moved on, but at least they have had a chance to engage if they wanted to.
