Home Groups: Provide an opportunity to meet in an informal atmosphere at someone's home to discuss the Bible, encourage each other and learn together. We currently have five groups meeting on various weekday evenings, as well as a daytime group. If you interested in finding out more or in joining a group, please ring our home group coordinator.

Christianity Explored: To enable group members to explore the basics of Christianity and ask questions in a friendly environment with a meal preceding the content of the 6 week course.

Men's Breakfast: About every six weeks at 8:00am on Saturday mornings at Methodist Central Hall's Discovery Cafe. An opportunity to hear a speaker and have a 'full fry up'.

Mums & Todds: (0 to School Age) meets on Wednesdays 1:15-3:15pm in the parish halls next to Emmanuel church, with additional programme highlights! All welcome.

Prayer Meetings: To develop and express a dependence and trust in the Lord for our planning, initiative and action in the parish. Now that some of the frills we used to encourage people’s initial participation have disappeared it is very encouraging to see that it is prayer itself that draws people to the meeting. Fridays 7:00am and every first Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm.

Welcome Suppers: To welcome newcomers into the church, getting to know them personally and giving them a chance to engage with church activities. During the year there have been three suppers. People have enjoyed relaxing over a meal together, some have gone on to become more fully integrated into church life and some have moved on, but at least they have had a chance to engage if they wanted to.

House Party: This takes place at Sidholme House in Sidmouth, Devon. In Jan 2007 over 100 of our parishioners spent a weekend away to learn more about God's word in an environment of family fun.
