About Emmanuel Plymouth

Emmanuel is a family church in the North of the city of  Plymouth – ‘family’ in the sense that we seek to make everyone of every ‘age and stage’ in life feel at home and valued as part of the church community. We are somewhat laid back in our style but serious and passionate about our faith! Indeed, our mission statement is that we may have, “A passion to see God’s Word shape our church and our church shape society”. In short, we want to be a  learning, loving, worshipping, evangelizing church which enriches and fulfills the lives of those with whom we come into contact. People who visit and come to join the church, tell us we are a friendly and welcoming church to come to. Making visitors and enquirers welcome is an absolute priority for us, as is helping newcomers to understand the faith and Christians grow in it.
